Will there be wi-fi?

• There will be designated areas with WiFi. WiFi will not be available over the entire property and we encourage you to leave your phones in airplane mode or in your cabin during the day.

This camp has everything you could want! There will be a lake with kayaks, paddleboards, a waterslide, archery, climbing, and much more!

• Active, weather-appropriate, layered apparel.
  • Shorts

  • Rain coat or umbrella
  • Extra change of clothes
  • Tennis Shoes or Hiking Shoes
  • Comfortable shoes or sandals to wear around camp.

  • Re-usable water bottle
  • Any needed medical supplies / prescriptions. There will be power for CPAP machines.
  • Toiletries // Shampoo, toothbrush & paste, sunscreen and non-deet bugspray if bugs love you.
  • Day pack or fanny pack to carry your stuff around
  • A book, or reading material to enjoy while at camp, and a book for the book swap!
  • Linens are provided.

Raleigh metro area will be driving or taking a bus, everyone else will be flying in.

Location

Camp Pinnacle, established in 1928, is located on a wooded 126 acre campus surrounding our private, 20-acre Wolfe Lake in Flat Rock, NC. They are within 10 minutes of DuPont State Forest, 5 minutes of Ride Kanuga, and 30 minutes of Pisgah National Forest.

Lodging

Comfortable cabins can house four to six campers, featuring newly built porches and renovated interiors. Shared bathhouses are newly updated, and convenient to access.

Part of camp is sharing space with others, and it is only for two nights!

Illness and Infectious Diseases:

Please be sure to consider how you are feeling leading up to the day of travel. If you feel unwell, have come in contact with a known contagion, or test positive/are diagnosed with a known disease, please do not travel.
